Our Solution for Your Requirements

Optris specializes in fixed installed infrared cameras for industrial process monitoring and research and development temperature measurement applications. Design features optimize the cameras for accurate temperature measurement and calibration processes with traceable precision instruments deliver accurate measurements in a variety of ambient temperature environments. As with pyrometers, one size or spectral response does not serve all applications. The IR camera product line includes a wide variety of wavelength options delivering the best measurements on a range of materials including glass, metal, plastic and carbon fiber.

All Optris cameras produce thermal images when connected to PC’s equipped with our license-free PIX Connect software which includes a wide variety of measurement functions all supported with alarming capability for process control. Some IR cameras in the XI-Series are designed to support autonomous operation (without PC connection) supporting hot spot detection and alarming when thermal imaging is not required.

The Precision Line (PI-Series) can be calibrated with a wide variety of optics from microscopic to telephoto which can be changed in the field. The more affordable Xi-Series is available in a wide variety of optic options that are fixed at the point of manufacture.

All Optris IR Cameras are supported with a wide variety of accessories including air purging, water cooling and outdoor enclosures that equip them for operating in a wide range of challenging environments.

Pyrometer or IR camera? The Xi series is a fusion of a rugged, compact pyrometer and a modern IR camera. Thanks to analog and digital outputs as well as the option to process up to nine freely definable measuring areas using and external process interface, the Xi camera is perfectly suited for OEM and a wide variety of process control and early fire detection applications.

High-Resolution Thermal Imaging for Advanced Industrial and Research Applications

For high temperature metal temperature measurements, Optris offers three “M-Series” IR cameras that measure temperature in short IR wavelengths and some which will protect the camera from use with lasers. For glass applications, Optris offers “G-Series” cameras with filtered detectors optimized for accurate glass measurement. For micro-electronics, Optris offers and infrared microscope package capable of imaging temperature changes in a spot size of 8 µm.
